The Estimate
Step #1 The Initial Walkaround
When we arrive to begin the estimate, we’ll ask you to guide us around your home. This walkthrough helps us understand the scope of the project and allows us to ask any necessary questions about your expectations and specific details regarding the job. This part of the process typically takes between 5 to 20 minutes, depending on the size and complexity of the job.
Step #2 Price Calculation
After the walkthrough, we will use the information gathered to calculate the exact cost of completing the project. We follow a painting standards guide that has been developed and refined over several years, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all estimates. This step usually takes between 15 to 45 minutes.
Step #3 Estimate Presentation
Once we have completed the measurements for your job, we will present you with the prices for your project. We’ll break down the cost into different sections so you can see where each part of the price comes from and have some options. Our prices are based on the cost of labour and materials, considering dimensions, surface type, amount of prep, complexity of cuts, and the number of coats needed. Our pricing is consistent across all estimates and includes insurance, taxes, paint, labor, materials and marketing.
